With daily poisons being sprayed upon us, this is more important than ever. BTW, remove the stem and put the whole apple in the smoothie, it's a powerful heavy-metals detoxer. Don't go overboard w/ the spinach, because while it makes you powerful like Popeye, your body can only process so much of it before it starts creating problems. Remember to wash the plastic and chemicals off the outsides first.
